Thanks for the story.
Very insightful.
I can relate, sort of.
My father died of stomach cancer when I was 12.
I wish I could say I was a comfort to my mother,
or vice versa, at that time, but I can't.
But, your story inspires me to write my own
and to arrange events and feelings the way
they should have been.
