I think it’s an amazing way of sharing so many of our life experiences with others. Maybe others learn something from them.

Sounds like a lot of fun and you have an email on the way already from me with one of my little Oops.

Love it. At least for me, writing shorter is easier than hitting 750 words.

This is a good idea. It opens doors for different kinds of writing and possibly prose poetry. I hope that comes soon as well.

Good Day,
What are the chances of Common Ties.com submitting more than one story from the same author?

Great idea and opportunity. It was a good stretch for me to pare down my words.

Interesting concept. Perhaps I will give it a try.

Writing of short stories, good it is. Brief you must be. Yes. Good.

This is a great idea- not much money for some of the stories told though especially if they are all true.

It would be one of the best things tht’s ever happened to writers and readers.Short to write, short to read;but lives longer on the mind. I support you.

If you’ve ever done research into rates for freelancing, you realize what a generous offer this is!
Thanks on behalf of all of us out here who earn our daily bread one day at a time.
Looking forward to seeing the format and content of the first edition of Quickies.

This is a platform I was waiting for last several months. i think it is great that you share your experience as well as you get paid for it.

What a fantastic idea….to make us work at editing our own work. It is really a challenge to cut, prune and be brutal to your own lines but results are worth the trouble. it is really like pruning a tree…to see its real beauty

Love the Quickies! They’re like potato chips…can’t read just one. Like literary all-you-can-eat popcorn shrimp, which is just about my speed, really (yet deceptively difficult to compose, of course). Especially like the tragi-comic ones, but that’s my prejudice.

How does one go about submitting a story? Are there any further requirements than stated above? I have many stories that I would like to have considered for publication. Thank you for your time.

It’s nice to hear about this. I guess I should be able to come up with a few stories. I have not gone through the already published Quickies though. Anyway, be ready to hear from me soon. Thanks.
